Easy Mint Limeade

Mint Limeade


  • 6 cups of water, divided
  • 1 1/4 cups of sugar or more if needed
  • 1/3 cup fresh mint chopped
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice about 12 limes
  • Mint sprigs and lime slices to garnish


  1. Combine 2 cups of water, sugar, and chopped mint in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring often. Take off heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Strain through a sieve into a pitcher.
  2. Pour in remaining water, and lime juice in with the sugar mixture. Stir and garnish.
